We are getting into the BLOG world. Physiotherapy discussion from a different lens. We want to discuss topics that are controversial, interesting and/ or misunderstood. Giving you a little something amusing to think about on a chill Sunday or on any other day that you want to pretend is a chill Sunday.
Other than reading our Blog here are some helpful tips on how to destress, chill out and take your mind off things.
#1. GET ACTIVE- that is a physiotherapist's go to answer. As there are countless benefits and very few risk. Activity can help both physical and mental health. You can go for a walk, do yoga, play a pick up sport, do an organized event, meditate, stretch, jump, dance, roll, laugh and do just about anything that gets you to move.
#2. Be creative- this basically feeds into the activity idea but can include more of an artistic element, drawing, crafting, quilting, cooking, upcycling or anything that allows you to think outside the box.
#3. Rest- which includes sleeping as well as active rest like reading, watching tv, crossword puzzles, word searches, spot the difference, people watching on your porch or just rocking in your chair.
There are many other ideas that you can do as well but I'll leave that up to you 😄
